Ordered three 2002 Silver Proof sets, got um, and sent them back the same day. weak cameos if not none exsistant, coins with marks etc.. Just courious if anyone had a similar experience.

Do not worry I am not like thoses old guys who write into Coin World magazine letter section and explaine how they will "never buy a mint product again" or "Mint cant get it right" or My tax dollars pay for this crap" etc..

Unless you collect sets, buying from the mint reminds me of pulling the handle in Las Vegas. Only difference is that you can at leaset get some of your money back if you don't hit a PR69 DCAM mint jackpot.

I also had a problem with my Silver Proof 02s. I sent them back to be replaced. The replacements where ok nothing to brag about. But don't get in a hurry it took just over 3 months and they screwed my debit account up.They double charged me without any reason. When I called them (another joke 1 hr on the phone) They said it was a accounting software issue, So Good Luck and check your account for double charges.. Don't count on your replacment until around Feb or March of 2003 or after the 2003 sets come out.
