Congratulations, that is one nice Merc, and it has the kind of toning I like! And like Jon said, Ken will just love it, so don't let him talk you out of it, ok.
Thanks guys for the kind replys Wayne,I picked it up at Heritage Auction which ended last night,I also aquired a 39 in (7) upgrade and another Gorgious 37-D in (7).I dont know about you guys but sometimes you can look for month's and not find anything ,than there they are .It's hard to pass up a nice (7) weither you need it or not.And I think I need help.Al
But Wow that Tone is Ugly. I think you better send it to Oregon ASAP.
Really a Nice find for your Set and Yes I was kidding. The Tone looks to be Very pretty.
Speaking of Heritage, dont' cringe Dennis, it seems they may have got a good buy on some Mercs. I plucked a 1918P from thier Web Site for a very good price also. Deeply Toned so maybe that is why it was relatively cheap.
I just noticed over at the Registry that every time You make some sort of a change to your set it shows the Set being updated. How long has this been like that ? Pretty Cool that they now tell us about any change and not just additions. Noticed this because a Dime was deleted and its showing upgrade on the Main Page.
AL, nice dime, and yes I saw that one several times on thier site, I do really like the way the tone looks, full of redish color. High Five on that one!
NICE lookin' coin, Al! Love those "candy red wine" colored Mercs. Like Jim mentioned, their scans tend to be dark. I bet it's a beaut! Congrats on the great score.

Grip,
Congrats, I like it and am sure Ken will too. Even Dennis should like it. Toned or blast white, Mercs are just beautiful.
Again, nice coin.

The '24-S looks like a very nice coin. Heritage's scans are usually a little bit dark. Congrats on the addition.
