  • I have'nt a clue.I think I saw someone say the Jay Williams books $8 or $10 as for the others no idea,But I figure maybe $25 to $30 worth of cards for $1.99.Beats my usual luck like when I buy one of the more expensive packs and pull all commonsimage
  • I pulled like 20-30 rookies in the one HTA/jumbo pack I bought in 02-03 Topps; I think the collation was screwed up for the entire release, but at least it makes for some interesting packs image

Do you think that it could possibly be hot packs? I remember when that was a hott topic.

  • Eh... since the phenomenon seems to be mainly with the base cards I don't think it can be considered a "hot pack" thing per se. I got the "Total O" insert set from a Hot Pack of 95-96 Fleer Series 2... and a regular Jordan "Total O"... and a Shaq "Towers of Power"... all from the same box image Also, I bought a retail box of 1995 ProLine (sometime in '96) that was very obviously got a Hot Box (they were advertised to exist like one per 600 boxes or so); alas, the players I got autographs of weren't so hot... (best pulls... 8, yes that's EIGHT, Keenan McCardell autographs image ). I think I pulled a total of like 37 autographs, but the most valuable ones are the McCardell's at an astounding $12 each image I think there's supposed to be Hot Mini-Boxes of 02 Finest Football (the one I bought wasn't one of them image ), but I think that's just a formalization of what tends to be a trend of fairly screwy collation (perhaps intentionally so) in Topps Products.

    That's my $2.67 image

  • The fact that it had 5 duplicate Laker Champ. cards in the 1 pack leads me to think it was more of a screw up than a hot pack.Either way I'm still very happy with it.image
