Has this ever happened to you?????

in U.S. Coin Forum
I always see people on here go "check out this beauty I just won on ebay!!!!!!!!!" So, for example we click on the link and see ebay userid "joeschmo" wins, and "joeschmo" happens to be a regular poster, popular poster on this board. Then you cruise on over to the "ebay search" by bidders ID, and you check out to see what joeschmo had bid on and it includes, ofcourse coins, but also all types of sexual items from butt beads to bondage videos? And it just causes your jaw to drop?

Just wondering!?!?!?!?!?

    I have to admit that's never happened to me, and if it ever did I probably wouldn't post about it.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    This isn't real recent. I thought I would wait awhile incase someone creative tried to do what you did. That just wouldn't be fair on my part to this esteemed member of the board.

    With reference to another thread - "why people don't have profiles" (or something along those lines) - maybe this should be Exhibit A. Exhibit B - why is it your business?     Not hard to do. Just go to the top of the page and click on "search", then "by bidder" enter the Ebay ID and be sure to click on "yes" to INCLUDE auctions that have already closed. I'm sure someone is pretty nervous right now.
