Help a Newbie understand PCGS

Hi,
I was thinking about joining the PCGS for grading coins.
I have read their service levels, but am still a bit foggy on the process to have a coin graded, the costs for it, and what the different benefit levels are, etc. A simple sum up would be appriciated.
Thanks
JAMIE

Moderns, 1965 to date, $10, no value limit.
Economy, 1964 and earlier, $15, $300 value limit.
Regular, 1964 and earlier, $30, no value limit.
There are also some other services, but they're not ones I've used.
BTW, welcome aboard! Got proof JFKs?
