Whitman toned Lincolns

A few months back I noticed the Memorial cents in my Whitman were turning blue around the rims and developing tab toning. I think I will let them go and see what happens as they are not very valuable coins. The 77-S is turning cherry red, blue and green. Here are two photos.

I dare anyone to deny that the 77 is full red.

I am wondering if they will get body bagged for AT if I send them in for slabbing. There are a dozen plus with various degrees of tab toning.

How long were they stored away before you noticed this Mike, and exactly where was the album kept? Seems likes the environment may have accelerated the toning process -- those are M&Ms colors!

It's a bookshelf album, sitting on the bookshelf in my den for the past 3 years. Go figure, none of the wheat cents have turned at all.

You wernt painting in your den again and you forgot to cover up your book shelf . I figured it out . Just kidding . Wow those are certanily weird that alot different way for them to be toning then I have seen and they dont look like the toning my lincoln cents have obtained but mine are from the 30 40 and 50's .
