It's that time

Washington Quarters guys - look in your rear view mirror - that's me passing on the left.

I just got back in the States and I'm ready to post. Top 5 may change.

I read the boards everytime I get to a computer. I have learned a lot from you guys. Here's what I think you guys are saying:

- Anything less than 30 minutes is a snipe.
- Don't max bid more than you are willing to spend.
- The only coins eligible are the ones still in the original PCGS plastic case.
- On the Washington Quarter turf - Wondercoin is the Godfather, Washvarieties and Registrycoin are the Lieutenants - don't talk bad about these guys.
- Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I have never been to a coin show.
I have never submitted a coin.
I have every quarter roll I have ever bought.
This is my first post.

In my other life - I get paid to ensure flagburners get to burn flags.

Thanks
DLG

You become "Godfather" of Wash quarters and allow me, Registrycoin and Washvarieities to buy your fresh original quarter rolls at sheet. How about it? image

I'm a lawyer, but I'm in a 12 step program. I haven't actively practiced in years, but I have thought about opening a boutique practice focused solely on filing lawsuits against other lawyers.

Since I'm a dyed in the wool collector, maybe I will start collection Bar ID numbers. Wonder if PCGS would slab some for me??????

I got into a different line of work and have become the focus of some litigation. I hate the lawyers on the other side, and hate my own lawyers just as much!!!! Being a lawyer myself, I recognize some of the "games" that are played, and it just makes me sick to my stomach. I guess I'm venting because I have week long trial scheduled at the end of the month, where a lawyer is looking for a "Powerball" verdict.

  • DLG,

Welcome. Do you collect proofs or MS Washingtons or both?

Hey, I'm still a lawyer. My father, grandfather, and father-in-law are all lawyers. Times have changed, though. The profession is not what it used to be.

  • I only collect Washington MS 32-64.

I AM NOT A LAWYER! I physically defend the constitution. I just like to see the lawyers bash each other.

I will call the set "DLG's Collection." I will post next week.

Wondercoin will remain the Godfather for now. One day I will look at my rolls.

I have been a member of PCGS for years now - unfortunately my free submissions expire.

I have a complete collection of raw MS quarters that I am considering for submission.

    Thanks

    Welcome home soldier!! image

I have a hunch your collection has come together nicely over the past couple years. And, I even believe you may have outbid me on a coin at auction recently, which isn't easy to do considering the price I pay for these darn MS Wash. quarters!

It will be great to see your set included in the Registry! Let the games begin!! image Wondercoin

Way to go littlewicher, love to see someone aspire to a noble profession! Forget DMWJr, we have a name for those lawyers who have let the fray and now bash those of us still in it. You'll know what I mean once you get here.

As for DLG, my many thanks, anyone willing to lay down their lives for our freedoms and rights, deserves a huge collective thank-you, not just on Memorial Day, but every day of the year.

Littlewitcher, go on to law school. The training and learning are better than you can get anywhere else, in my opinion. Just do like me, and use it for good and never for evil . . . .

Don't mind Frattlaw, he's just jealous. The name they have for us is "rehabilitated people."

Not to lose sight of the thread, welcome home, DLG. Where have you been stationed????

Unfortunately, littlewicher they are both right! But don't let that affect your decision

Now why would the two of you try to discourage little from entering this noble "pyramid scheme." Russ, I can understand, he's not in the pyramid, but c'mon now DMWJr, you know that without new associates, the new partners can't enjoy the lifestyle they've seen their older partners enjoy. Lawyers invented the pyramid scheme! There aren't that many law school grads anymore and it's killing me and my practice. Competition is so strong for new associates, you have to start trying to lure them over when they're just "littlewichers" now a days.image
