I was gonna say Kemp also, but now that he actually gave up the last 2 years of his contract (wow, now how often do you see any player have that kind of class to give up the rest of your huge contract) I guess he isnt the most overpaid player anymore. Id now have to go with Allen Houston

Houston, Im a huge Knicks fan, but his contract is pathetic, but so is the whole Knicks front office, don't let me get started. KG is a great player, if he was on another team I can see his contract being fine but since he makes up like 85% of his teams cap no wonder they cant win.

Ok this has got to be Michael "Yogi" Stewart from the Raptors. This guy does absolutly nothing and get's paid $3,840,000 each year for 5 years!

although he averaged a double-double over the past 15 games last year, he is still grossly overpaid. Signed a 7-year deal worth over $45 Million 2 years ago. He would be worth it if he'd quit pouting and being lazy, he's like a woman always pouting and refusing to speak to the local media cause they always pick on him. I am a Rockets fan and actually like Cato, but he's big time overpaid.

Although it's astonishing what some people make, I have to respectfully disagree a bit with jrccrum; sure, the players make a lot of money, but they're only paid what they perceive to be fair market value in the eyes of the owners and managers. Of course, sports agents play into this too, but the owners and managers aren't fighting them. It may be a game to some of us, but it's also a business, so noble sentiment is liable to be thrown out the window in place of cold, hard cash...
