Sounds like a seller who got ripped on a coin they got somewhere else.

That kind of honesty is refreshing. I'm tempted to bid just because of the description. It reminds me of Dudley Moore's Volvo line in the movie Truth in Advertising, "boxy but good". image

Edited to say - I did bid. I hope he does well.

That's what they're good for... I'd buy a modern from them, even, *gasp* ACG because although I know it's not a 70, a nice coin is still a nice coin- so long as the price matches the coin and not the holder (plus I don't think moderns would be retooled/cleaned/etc)

There's that magical "PCGS" in the banner too (easy search) even though this coin isn't.

All he needed were the words "rare" and "sexy" and he'd have tripled his hits.

    Or add Anna Kournikova...
  • I agree with Braddick. Isn't this a classic example of keyword spamming?

That guy at ICG who wears his little white hat everywhere, including to the toilet, must be awfully strongimage Look how he's crushed that slab just like the motor cycle gang thugs used to do with beer cans in the movies, before they threw them at the feet of the whimps!image

I thought I was the only one that searched for "kournikova" in the coins section. Put me down for the '92 silver pcgs Kennedy.
