I tried NOT to think about coins all weekend......

Left for Boston/Cape Cod Friday morning with my wife for our 25th anniversary. Could I give up thinking about coins for a whole weekend? Not a chance. With no computer, I had no access to ebay ,heritage, teletrade, message boards, etc. I actually was up late Thursday checking for any auctions that might close while I was away (Thankfully Russ was distracted by a show). When we strolled through Hyannis, I thought about stopping in the public library for internet access. Yes, it was next to the JFK Museum. I wanted to go in the museum and ask "Got any JFK proofs"? I checked out the coins everytime I got change. At dinner in Cotuit, I had a merlot and thought of Bear and a store in Quincy Market had a sign about the 100 year anniversary of the teddy. We stayed at a B & B in Barnstable and had a wonderful weekend. I'm a lucky guy to have been married to Mrs. PhillyJoe for 25 years.

The Philadelphia Mint: making coins since 1792. We make money by making money. Now in our 225th year thanks to no competition.

Congrats on #25, isn't that silver - as in 1964 JFK?

I have some of the same malady when it comes to thinking about coins. I never frequented antique shops until I began my hobby/business anew.
Personally, the high-grade accented hair as an anniversary present wouldn't be so bad...
