Anybody hear of a 1926 dd mercury??

I got this for a steal I only paid 7.50$ at the fall coin show. It is doubled die on the date and on the wing and on the LIB in liberty. this grade by photo grade a vf. Any body hear of this . Some information would be helpful

Sounds like what you have is a machine double date, like Tony said. Where the die bounces causing a doubling effect.
They are not worth a premium, but I collect them for fun if you want to sell it. There are some actual repunched dates (in the die) like the 31-D, 29-S and 35-P, but no 26-D that I know of. This is covered in the Mercury Dime book by David Lang.
