NobleSpirit Question?

Is NobleSpirit a message board member. The question is; Do you ever lose your shirt? All your auctions are No Reserve and start at 0.01 cent. Do you ever get burned? Anyone please comment. I just don't understand how anyone can do this.

I used to start all my auctions at $1 with no reserve. In 1999 and most of 2000 it would be great because the coins would go for more than I would have asked for them. Now that ebay is so much more competitive, the novelty of online auctions have worn off, the economy slow down and people getting smarter I find I am doing it less. I think you'll see fewer and fewer people running auctions like that as time goes on.

Have I lost my shirt? Sometimes I've given coins away but sometimes I've gotten too much. I think it's all evened out.

By the way I have an auction for the 1997 Brittania set closing this evening. Same set as your icon. I know I show no class plugging it here but it's just a coincidence. I've never had one of those sets before.
