are the surfaces rough? I like my barber's a little dark these days, do you think this fits the bill?link

    looks polished on the higher points and esp. below her neck.
  • IMHO, it's hard to grade from pictures. I always end up a little off one way or another. In all fairness, I'm totally a babe in the woods with Barbers.

    However, with that said, the reverse reminds me of a '23 Peace I purchased as a kid... the high points look like they've been polished or buffed in some way. Especially the Eagle's shield.

    But this one has been "scrubbed" real good. Garbage - it will go unsold.

  • Let's see - all high points are bright, shiny and lack detail. Dark stuff surrounds stars, letters, etc. Hmmmm.....whiz bang!!!
