#11 Proof Kennedy Registry Set for Sale.

Due to lack of employment we are forced to sell off my son's and my Proof Kennedy Registry set. It's a nice set (even ahead of Russ!!image). Here is the E-Bay link:

#11 Proof Kennedy Registry Set

Right now I don't want to split it up, so please don't ask. It's depressing enough having to sell a set we have worked soooooooo hard to build.

Thanks for looking, and don't flame me (it is a registry set!)..

  • Marty,

Just my opinion, but you should have given the board first crack at this. I bet you would have gotten the same amount as a board member may well buy it and you won't lose 2.5%+ in ebay fees. Especially with the promise of being above the mighty Russ image

Anyway, nice set. I put a bid in for you it.

I was thinking about it. But if a board member wants it, her can make an offer. I have 5 days to kill the auction!!image

You know, I feel like I have a target on my back.image

    Marty,

I'm sorry that you need to sell it. It's been a blast jockeying for position with you in the registry. I only hope that the new owner has as much fun with it as you did, and also is as great to compete with.

Russ, You know it's killing me to have to do this. But your my hero (as far as kennedy's). So if I can give someone the joy of being ahead of you and make them feel as good as it made me feel. Well so be it...image

I was going to put the title on E-Bay as Buy this registry set and trounce the crap out of Russ!!!.. LOLimage

Marty, sorry to hear of your situation. I mailed my # 16 set to its new owner today and the postal clerk kept telling me to let go of the package. Postage and insurance will run about $100 for your set. It's a big ticket item and may not go the first time (3 times for me). Don't get discouraged, there must be something you and I can gang up on Russ about.
