ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL ! ! !
Wow,what a great start for the NFL & it's still going on! We were very happy to see the Redskins win the 1st of many.Spurriers' "fun & gun" "east coast offense" is fun to watch & they WON the game.

Michael Vick looked real good even in defeat! He has shown he can perform at this level, so all you detractors give it a rest.

Drew Brees-Tomlinson & the Chargers came out with a huge win!
We were both happy to see Marty has let these guys play!

Andre Davis-Ex Va Tech player did well in his debut with the Browns by scoring a TD.Sad way to lose the game tho with the penalty in the final seconds.

Give us your observations on the games you all watched.Can't wait for the Cowboys-Texans game tonite.....GO TEXANS! !

Both the early games I saw were incredible...OT between the Falcons and Packers,Jets and Bills...Bledsoe won't last the season if he keeps getting knocked aroud like he did against the Jets...took some wicked shots...Vick looks like the real deal and Farve was up to his old comeback magic...

hey give some credit to Miami. Ricky Williams had 111 yards rushing on 20 attempts and 2 TDs, and Jay Fiedler threw 3 TD passes. and Robert Edwards scored his 1st TD in 4 years. Dolphins won 49-21 so I'm happy.

Rams don't look good at all.... going for it on 4th down when they could of tied the game was a huge mistake. I hope they lose the game cuz of that.

The Dolphins do look like the real deal.Saw where they gave Ricky a game ball;that was well deserved.Have to agree with you on the Rams too.Just look way out of sync.

Ski-We enjoy football alot;it gets us ready for our other favorite game;the NHL.Both are way better than the NBA.Those wimps couldn't even get to the medal round against those semi-pro guys from Argentina!! LMAO .Shows how weak the NBa is becoming;all show & no go!

Did anyone else watch the Chiefs vs. Browns game?? Talk about a crazy ending.

The Bucs vs. Saints was another game with a crazy ending. I thought that game was going to end up in a tie. If you blinked you might have missed the botched punt that ended the game.

They gave ricky one of the game balls which was deserved.Also heard that they reworked Rickys contract at the last minute to make it easier for him to reach his bonus money.He sure looked happy out there today.We both thought that was a class act thing for the Dolphins to do.

I have been a Dolphin fan since I was old enough to follow football, 1969. Based on recent history (1988-last year) I will get excited if Rickey by two things. First, Is R. Williams still rushing for 100+ yards by the 9th game and did we beat the Jets.

The Fins have a way of going 7-1 and then 1-7, so painful. I will cheer like a mad man, but will hold my optimism for the 9th game and beyond.

You my friend have no idea how bad it sucks to be a Dallas fan. The game was so freaking incredible, thousands upon thousands of Houston fans cheering roaring and talking much sh!t to the few dallas fans at the game. This being my first football game to see in person it was a mesmerizing experience. And who cares how we do now, we beat the hell outta Dallas, sucks to be them.....

Bobstar - they gave us a towel, nothing special but the experience was so freaking amazing, the crowd was just so into it. Definately in my top 5 of cool sh!t of all time, hell probably tops the list.

Before last night I was mainly just a hockey fan (I mean i pay attention to other sports but mainly follow hockey) but now its time for me to start with the football

I always enjoyed watching them when they had Earl Campbell playing for them.He was an awesome RB to watch!

Think it could be more serious than some think.Could turn into a very bad situation unless they get it taken care of.
I mean,they traded for a coach;now that doesn't happen too often!
Alot of pressure on alot of people & some that might not be able to handle it very well.Let's hope they come thru it all ok.
