What is the top 1999 Baseball box??? Need Help!

I want to buy a 1999 baseball box...cause i am trying to get the best Pat Burrell rookie...if you know what set this is in lmk..also if you can list what you think the top 3 are..thanx

overall I would go with bowman chrome 1 (for burrell) and ultimate victory, but those will
cost you a lot. Burrells best rookie is in mystique and that box will cost you less than the other
two. You pull six rookies in UV, you pull a butt load in BC and you pull about 8 in the mystique.
You will find a lot of off-centered cards in bowman chrome and foil probs in the UV.

I opened a box of mystique last year and it was fun, the autos are 1 per two boxes and are
numbered pretty low. Look on the checklist while you open..if you get the player right
next to Burrell then Burrell will be in the box too.

The Ultimate Victory, Mystique, and Bowman Chrome 1 are all going to be expensive. You might be able to get an ok price on the Chrome since the series 2 is much hotter (thanks to Soriano and Dunn). Whatever you decide to do, good luck

90 bucks?? man thats cheap, heck I was paying more than that in 99! Bowman chrome is a funny
thing. You know that the centering is going to be the same throughout the entire box, so if you
rip the first pack and they are all centered 90/10, you know you are screwed!

Mystique is safe in that regards, plus you could put a 1/1 or an auto, the only thing is they didn't
make alot of it and it is impossible to find, at what point do you say to yourself:

"Im better off buying a Burrell on-line"

thanx guys for all your help...yeah i am going to look around for a while to see if i can find these boxes cheaper anywheres..there is a local show coming up in about a month so i will look there an if i dont find a reasonable price i will just probably buy the Mystique Burrell on ebay or something..

You really are not going to find anything at a show, these things are very hard to find! I think
ebay is your best bet. If I was you I would wait until January when baseball cools off to pick up
a Burrell, his stuff is probably a bit high right now. Well good luck

Good point...maybe i will be able to find a good priced Mystique Burrell rc there..if not then i will definitely wait till winter to pick one up on ebay

I checked beckett for u.
The Top 3 Burrell's are Fleer Mystique bv 80, UD Ultimate Victory bv 40, and Bowman Chrome bv 20.

Also check charmcitycards.com it is an online card store that I saw a listing for 99 Fleer Mystique for $73.
