I try and go along with a lot of the garbage that goes on here, but tonight has hit an all time low

. I am very disappointed in a lot of my so called friends that think what Ryan has posted is cute and funny. If this is what you want our board to come to then ya'll can have it without me. I'm sure this is what he wants anyway. I am all for having a good time on here, but I can't believe this is how you want this board to go, guess I was wrong. If I am alone in these feelings, then guess it's time for me to move on.........

You know what, I say enough is enough....enough of one person deciding what is and is not appropriate. Those posts have generated a ton of responses, so clearly the entire board does not feel they are worthless. Joyce, you have every right to ignore a post that you feel is inappropriate, and if you're truly offended, take your own advice and PM someone to speak up. It's not fair for one person to be able to snap her fingers and decide what is appropriate, just like it wouldn't be fair if I decided that from now on I got to decide which posts were continued and which were locked. It's not fair.

Joyce, I have NEVER wanted you to leave this board, you honestly do provide the voice of reason many times, not to mention the fact that you're a great trader and person. But it is honestly unfair for one person to play self-appointed censor. i think its a shame that most people cant make a post without idiots like ryan making stupid comments or interrupting the flow of positive vibes....if you look at all my posts you will see his retarted remarks...
i feel what joyce is saying cause she is out numbered a lot and some of the things we say could make her feel uncomfortable.....keep in mind.she is the only woman in this group on a regular basis that makes post, and trades cards just like we do
..i blame all this on ryan ...always starting something....but joyce dont let him drive you off this board....without joyce ,we would have to wait until every second tuesday to get updates on cards when the new beckett comes out..plus the happy birthdays...and plus she is just plain cool....

i say we kick ryan off .sure it is a free forum..but i wouldnt want my lady in a room full of guys with perverted things to say.....mainly what i am trying to say is "guys"switch places with joyce.....

I can agree that the post may have gotten out of hand for a tradeboard, but many of them do. Some of the people on this post complaining are just as guilty. I do recall Duncangal and Quasar offering up cards to find out who some guy was cause Quasar wanted to kick his butt or something. WTF is that? Clearly just as inappropriate for this TRADE board as anything else.
I apologize if I may have said anything offensive (? didn't think I did), but don't sit here and act like all of those who are mad about these posts haven't been involved in their own little indiscretions before. Most of us have done it at some point. Doesn't make it right, but that's simply fact.

I did not by any means mean to start a war on here over my statement last night. You all know that I love this board and I have never done or said anything to be mean or cruel to anyone here. I am NOT the gestapo, morality police, or the self appointed censor of this board as I have been accused of. I had no idea that is what some thought of me. I have always tried to treat all fairly, as I believe that is what our open forum means. I don't put people down for who they are, who they collect, or anything like that. I have tried to help all with your collections, and have even had some of you come to me for personal advice, which I don't mind at all. I enjoy a good debate as well as the next person, as long as it as done without putting down someone for their beliefs. I know I have posted off the subject things before, like my breaking my ankle, but it was because I thought of us as a family and we all sort of bond together when someone has a problem, just as we celebrate over good news. I think it makes people feel good to have others share in their birthday. I also think a contest every now and then is something we all enjoy, as long as it doesn't offend anyone.
All I have ever asked of anyone on here is to remember that there are kids and other women on here, and to just think before you post. I am not a purist, and if y'all want to talk about drinking and your so-called past conquests with women, fine, that's what chat rooms and making your own web sites are for. This site is for all of us, and I don't want to see it divided into gangs or separate clubs, where others feel left out. No one person owns this site, but we all have a say in keeping it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. I have received some very nice pm's, posts, and IM's from some of you, and I want you to know I really do appreciate your support and kind words. I could not leave my good friends on here, so sorry to disappoint some of you, but you will have to put up with me, like it or not, lol. I hope to think you will like it, cause even tho I am a woman I think I can add a lot to this forum, and who else will you have to give you smiles?

I don't think you can ever find an "innapropriate post" that I have made, not that I have offended anyone in. If I am wrong then I humbly apologize. It is true that when I had someone harrassing me on the boards and in IM's that I did offer cards for help in finding out who it was to get it stopped, and most of the responses were very eager to help out. Even the moderators on here were behind me on that. I don't know why that would bother you, I would do the same for anyone else that was being harrassed. Q did go overboard in his comments, but later apologized as well. If this is the best of the worst you can find in me, then I can live with it, lol. I don't live in another world, just one that should be fair and open and respected by all.
I will not go on anymore about this. You all know who I am and what I stand for, and you can either like me or not. Just know one thing, I will not be intimidated by anyone, but will do my best to get along with all.

Now can we all get back to trading and having some fun, pleeeease? Thanks!

duncangal, I hope you have noticed in all of this that I have made it a point not to attack you, insult you or call you names. I've always been offended by your tendency to feel the ned to "police" the board, but on the other hand I've always been impressed by your status as a very likeable person and trader. I do not hate you, I do not dislike you, and I certainly don't want you to leave. There have been people in this argument like Bobstar and battier who I honestly dislike, and I have not hesitated to let them know so. I hope you've noticed I have paid you far more courtesy, and I will continue to do so....no matter how much we disagree at times, no one will ever convince me that you're not a great person.

I still say the only person on this board I really hate is Bobstar. duncangal pushes my buttons once in awhile but above all she's a good person and trader. battier forces me to laugh at him once in a while, but hey he's just a kid having a good time like so many others. Quasar's just standing up for his girl, nothing but honor in that. I think it's somewhat ironic how similar me and duncagal really are....think about it.....occasionally we ruffle some feathers, but we both know we can hang our hats on one fact: we both do our best to constantly be good traders, and our reference lists stretch on and on. Thats the redeeming fact for both of us
