Hi,
I have read a little about the 1884 CC Morgans (GSA offering/issue)and have heard that you can sometimes get a really nice coin - up to MS 65 with these. True? Not? I'm curious...I have one coming that I just purchased and you really cannot tell a thing by the picture - it's all blurry. The date and mint themselves indicate a pretty decent deal but I am looking for someone who KNOWS....
Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

For the 1884-CC GSA, finding an MS65 coin is not that difficult. In fact, with some effort you can even locate them in MS66 condition although they're much harder to find today than 10-15 years ago. So many of the higher grade coins have been cracked out and submitted to the grading services that those remaining in the holders are of an overall lower quality.
Thanks!

Appreciate the info.

Unless you are sure of your grading skills. And when judging by a scan. As this is not like buying a slabbed coin where you have a hint of what grade might be.
You have to rely on yourself, as it should always be. And a good seller that is honest.
Just my thoughts, Stman
