Wow, already turned a profit on my 18th B-Day

Well at least I got lucky doing something. midnight just hit so I went down to the gas station to buy some lotto tickets (gotta take full advantage of turning 16) and bought $8 in tickets, getting $17 in return. Wow, more than a 2x profit. Begginers luck. Now I wont be buying any for months. Just had to do it.

    You should cut in front of me in line, I have been behind the same guy, TWICE, he bought a scratch-off and won 1000 a week for a year(52K) and about six months later he bought a single Quik-Pick Power Ball Ticket and won $100,000. I offered to follow him around for luck.....hes still winning and I'm still helping the lottery pay him....

    Man that sucks. Well at least ya got to see someone win. I was hoping I'd get lucky like we did 8 years ago when I saw someone in front of us buy like 25 lotto tickets and I convinced my dad to buy a couple and we won $200. Hell if I'd play lotto tickets all the time I'd probably lose less money than i do with baseball cards, lol. But those darn cards, what an addiction (and I still havent hit anything big yet).

    Hmmmm... well the best (meaning most expensive) scratchers have a return of about 67%, including the top-end prizes, so for overall return I'd just buy some cheap boxes (just got the pack equivalent of 3 boxes of 93-94 Stadium Club series 2... hello Chris Webber rookies... for $10.30 including shipping) and cheap cards (never know what you can find... $83 BV in Peter Warrick and Akili Smith rookies for $6 including shipping) on Ebay image

    you do relize you said you have to take full advantage of truning 16 right??

    yea i saw that typo. It looks like of funny. But it was supposed to be 18, as in the top of the post
