Does this Walker look cleaned to you guys?

PCI slabbed 1921-S. It just doesn't look right to me. I also don't think it's an EF coin.

I agree. At least a soap and watered look.
This one has more detail though than many other "XF40" 1921 Walkers I've seen on eBay lately.

Cleaned or dipped or both. Looks too shinny for the grade.

If you get it cheap enough you could just keep it in your pocket everyday and rub it one in awhile and in a year or two have a good or fine image

My son has already found cleaned coins in the gold PCI slabs that people have sent him, also PVC. The only PCI slabs I would touch are the 10 digit green slabs, the 14 digit green slabs are questionable but you can find some good coins. I wouldn't touch the 9 digit green or the gold slabs with a 10 foot pole. Both are akin to ACG.

I would pass on that coin, Its been cleaned to a frazzel. It looks to be dipped so many times , it could double for your oil dip stick. Russ is right, it sure dont look right even for a circulated coin. In fact my wifes car looks more natural after the car wash. image Bear

It occurs to me that any coin collector who wants to avoid getting screwed has only to join this forum and ask questions before they buy.image

Russ, were you thinking of buying it? Or just learning to tell what a cleaned one looks like.
