  • Yeah the first is 73 1/3 ft./sec... use that instead of 73.33333333 (ad infinitum w/ the 3's) unless your book calls for decimal answers.

    The answer to the second problem is 14,560 dollars/year, which is a rough equivalent to poverty but unless this is an economics or sociology class we're talking about just mention the dollaz image

  • Yep... it's kinda like cross-cancelling with fractions; if the same unit is in a numerator ("on top" image ) someplace and in a denominator ("on bottom" image ) someplace then you cross those out; the unit of measurement (something per something for now) is whatever remains on top per whatever remains on bottom image
