The PCGS FINGERPRINTS Continue

That's the bad news. I just got back a 1967 Kennedy (not SMS) in MS66 and it is covered with fingerprints. I count at least 6 fingerprints on the coin. The coin was fingerprint free when submitted.
Come on PCGS this has to be intentional. This isn't a minor mistake. This is some pissed off employee getting back at you.
This coin is going back to PCGS to be fixed.

In memory of BL, SM, and KG. 16 and forever young, rest in peace.
It's the minimum wage employee working in the basement slabbing these coins.
HE needs to wear gloves when popping the coin into the ring insert.

What would your slabbed coins be worth if the grading services went out of business? What would your coins be worth if the Internet was taken offline for good?

If it isn't them then how come one of my coins came back with water (sneeze residue?, snot?) on the coin? If it was me who did it then it wouldn't have gotten slabbed by them. It would have been bagged.

That is not the response I got when it happened to me.

This is one of the major problems with slabbing coins!

How about a crash course about handling ?
How about MANDATORY GLOVES in the slab room ?
Just some thoughts...........

Mandatory gloves would be nice, but if the person is putting their finger on a coin, then using a glove won't help much. They won't leave a fingerprint, but they will scuff or hairline a coin.
I actually think I need to speak to someone at PCGS... I just started another thread about the Quality Control and can't see why white gloves should me manditory. At one time I was in the film industry and if you got caught without your white gloves on, you immediately got written up.
If I open up a proof set, I never touch the coins. I keep them in the holder and use my trusty magnifying glass to look at them. When I place them in the flip, I bend the "cardboard" a bit and use my nails to push them out onto the flip. Once in the flip, I know they do not have fingerprints on them.
This is driving me nuts today I guess I'll go see how my stocks are doing...wait, that will drive me nuts too!
