We have all had LOTS of great discussion on the superiority of his MAGNIFICENT coins... with all of their colors and original straight-from-the-mint goodness... it has led me to one question...
How do I get into his family? You know, around present time... maybe I could pick a coin, any coin... and he will give me that coin...
Hmmm.............

PS- dreamin?

Ain't you the one he always talks about wanting to bring his rare coins in for show and tell at school?
Hey.. tell you what... bring that 1834 Proof Quarter he's got into recess tomorrow. I'll trade you a real bullfrog, some cool bugs and some Digimon cards for it.
I'll answer your question. Right now, on eBay, I own every single piece of coinage and currency (rare book and print), except one. I will soon be putting up one more coin that doesn't belong to me, a nicely toned Morgan in NGC MS66. I will also put up one other coin, a toned Walker in 66 that another person has given me permission to list (he offered it to me, I passed but he said, try to sell it for me.)
I will from time to time take coins on consignment but generally speaking only for friends. One of the problems is that Joe, who just consigned a coin to you thinks that your images aren't complimentary enough, or that the write up wasn't as pithy as usual and so he says, Oh, just send it back to me, that is of course, after you have gone to the trouble to spend your time on it. (And besides, would you really want a nut-case like me to sell your coins?)
Recently I sold a group of coins, almost all toned Morgans for a friend, starting at one cent and ending without reserves. The total value of all those coins was about $4,500.
Man, I just can't give a short answer, can I? Oh, well.

For some life lasts a short while, but the memories it holds last forever.

In memory of BL, SM, and KG. 16 and forever young, rest in peace.
As for posting short things to comments, I'm cool with that but sometimes I do get a little busy. Everyone needs a little attention from time to time, including me.
dorkarl - you wrote "does he own all those coins, or are a lot of them consignments? just wondering."
I told my wife that you asked that of Sean, and she said, that you should engage in activities directed at the acquisition of spherical objects larger in size than those you currently possess.
Now, those are not her exact words, I have reworked them into a more palatable presentation, (you know me, Mr. Nice-guy). She is also a lawyer, so words for her, are like they are for me, just words. I told her that you seemed to actually be a fairly respectable fellow.
