I'm a big fan of the 1998-99 basketball draft class and love essential credential RC's so thought I'd test my luck on a box. Here are my pulls:

So I got 17 RC's in one box (18 packs) pretty sweet. Only wish I got a star player or star RC credentials card. At least I was lucky enough to pull a credentials RC though...even though it's Doleac (new Knick) I don't have a guide handy but if you guys know any prices on the cards let me know. Also if anybody wants anything let me know, all cards are straight out of the packs just a few minutes ago....always fun opening packs...never got a box that had so many RC's always use to that Sp authentic BS (1 or 2 RC's a box)

I have a box of 98-99 Sp authentic Basketball starring at me right now....must resist temptation to open it though cause I know there's a Doleac waiting for me in there.....or maybe a Corry Carr....

$69 bones which is what I've been seeing them go for. I bought some awhile back for $55 a piece so it's not that much of a difference. It's just a change of pace seeing RC's coming out of every other pack. I'm always buying SP and SPX and man it hurts sometimes getting 1 RC a box that you blow $200 on. Now with the $150 a pack UD ultimate cards...that's alittle nutty.

But I will give everyone an update on my 98-99 SPX Finite Update pack when I get it. Last time I got one I pulled a Carter RC Finite RC #2500. I'm shooting for the impossible Spectrum out of that pack.

I was considering putting the Box up on ebay. I've seen people's boxes at shows and they always seem to have a mashed corner or something wrong with it. Why drop so much cash on a box only to have the corners dinged. My box came straight out of a case and has been kept in storage for quite some time. Only took it out for pics.




I'd listen to offers on it. Great draft class and hey I've pulled as many as 6 RC's out of a box so shoot for a Carter/Dirk/Pierce/Jamison etc.

Hey I'm liking these Dunk'n Go Nuts inserts...yea and I usually hate inserts. Anybody got any of them? Wonder what VC's goes for. Mcgrady went for $11....hmm....only 20 cards, might attempt the insert set.

True...True... I just wish I could have got my Doleac Spectrum #1/25 from the ebay fraud that scammed me out of my cash. I would have put them up together. Yea it's good that Doleac is a Knick, there will be a few people looking out for his cards now. I'll probably list it with a couple of my other credentials cards. I'm waiting on Mr. Keon Clark right now...have 3 of the 4 BGS 9 credentials RC's of him and I'm hoping he goes to the Kings....

Have a Rubies #ed to 25 and a Spectrum #ed to 25. Yea both top cards of Mr.Davis but would take a great offer for me to move them because I know how good this guy is (loved him since the slam dunk competition he was in with Carter)

Vince: Not trying to hate on you, but what do you think the odds are on pulling that Spectrum from the 1998-99 SPx Update pack? I am wondering how many Spectrums from that year have already been pulled. I never got around to starting a population report of the ones that made it to eBay for that year, but I would guess that probably 90% or more have already been pulled. There are a few which appear often, but then there are some which I swear I have never seen, like Jelani McCoy and Corey Benjamin. But still, please let us know what you get from your pack. Thanks.
