Home PCGS Set Registry Forum

What a Great Community this forum has become.

This past week, I recieved coins for registry sets from three different forum members. All coins are PQ, and all were part of quick and professional transactions. Sure beats the heck out o' eBay! image

Special thanks to D. Heath, K. Dagen, and R. White, for the super addtions to my sets.
Special thanks, also, to all that have bought from me, notified me with coins of interest, and just all-around information offerings. imageimageimageimageimage .............................................................

Gratefully,

Don

Never is there any Dissapointment when buying from a Forumn Member. Have received coins in the last year from 6 members. Only complaint is the Guys worry themselves to death thinking the coin sent will not be goog enough. Heck, the ones I have got are superb. Nice People, Nice Coins and for the most part a Nice Place.
Now someone find a PCGS MS64FB or 63FB Merc for Me. I am having absolutely NO LUCK finding this coin. image

I feel the same way. I have purchased several coins from forum members, and sold a few too. I have been very happy with the coins I got, and the price was usually better. Long live the forums. Mark

              I wouldn't turn down a nice '25-D either.

It's good to hear that dealings with fellow board members are usually hassle-free, but I'm not surprised. There are a lot of good, knowledgeable people here.

It's been a quiet week for Mercs, unless you were lucky enough to get something from the ANA auctions. The lots I was watching seemed to go for more before the juice than I wanted to pay with the juice. image You can bet that there are plenty of Merc collectors outside of the registry who were bidding or attended the show. I figure some people probably found upgrades to their sets, and will be selling off their lower grade duplicates. I'll be perfectly happy with nice 64's of the tougher dates.

I haven't found a Merc in weeks, so I've been buying a few pieces for my non-gold 20th century type set with varieties. I entered an upgrade and 5 additions last night, and am in the process of taking new (and hopefully better) pictures of most of the coins in that set. I have just a few easy ones left to complete the set, but I really want to find some Mercs.

This seems to have become a Merc thread so I am jumping in. Ken, I will keep a lookout for a nice 25-D for you in my web surfing. If anyone runs into a nice 36-S in 66 (no bands of course) let me know.

This place really has turned into a great forum, especially all of my fellow Merc collectors. I think being a Merc collector has rubbed off in other ways, I just bought an 02 Merc.... (ML320)...LOL

Received coins today from 2 forumn members and could not be happier.

Also Python1 (Dennis) has found and will secure for me tomorrow probably what I think is the second or third hardest Merc to find in decent shape. Its a 1925D in MS64FB. My deepest Thanks goes out to him for this very fine jesture on his part. Before its all over I will owe Dennis Many, Many favors for the Dimes he has found for my Set.

              Thanks Again to both Members.

Is being "chat happy" apart of being a Fishing Lure collector? image

You could title a thread "My house is on fire"....... you would still get 10 fisheads chatting about FB Mercs!! image
