    Materials: Aluminum

    This aluminum token features a cactus and the letters "AZ" on the obverse. On the reverse, it features the date and mintmark below a star surrounded by rays (as seen on the Arizona flag). It was made in the Verde Valley of Arizona, in the year 2022.

    In 2021, a total of 65 of these were produced.
    In 2022, a total of 44 were produced on thick blanks, and 269 on thin blanks.
    The token for sale here is struck on a thin blank, meaning that it is one of only 269 ever produced.

    The dies used to strike these tokens are handmade, so the finished tokens show many slight variations.
    The token pictured is the exact token you will receive.
    Please note: The video shows how these tokens are made, and is not a video of this particular one being made.

    This is not a tax token, nor is it issued by or for the state of Arizona. This is a privately issued token, and has no value as currency.
