1953 Deep Cameo Proof Half Crown

Common and yet not. This graded Deeo Cameo 66 at hosts, and possibly under graded - hard to show the startling contrast and deep field reflectivity. Certainly # 39806616

    I don'r know why her shoulder looks marked up because it assuredly is not. I liked it but will say the action picture made it look like the much scarcer first obverse with "I" of DEI to space as the edge teeth were distorted. Oh well, still a nice specimen of the second obverse.

    Gillick portrait is one of my favorites. I'd like to have real cameo (like one in OP) 1953 set eventually but prefer it in the original case not graded.

    I also plan to buy this proof set eventually too, in the original case, but haven't looked for cameos.

    That is a beautiful crown. I got one sold as a VIP somewhere around here. I also bought a DeepCam 66 1953 (S) shilling that I will post sometimes...
