Dean's Cards

Hi everyone. I am collecting a vintage PSA graded baseball set (1958 Topps) and am close to 93% completed with it. This has taken many years and patience to find cards I prefer as I am very strong on front side centering. So, I have stayed far away from Dean's for these years due to their insane high pricing in my opinion. Which leads me to my question. I have been checking out their raw inventory lately, and they have a system in which they grade these raw cards in a PSA equivalent. I personally look for centered PSA 6 and higher cards. Has anyone bought any of their "graded" raw cards and sent them in to PSA for grading? And if so, how was the grading comparison to what Dean's deemed it to be vs the resulting PSA grade? Thanks.

I did this one time back in 2018. I saw a 1963 card of John Brodie that I really liked. It was graded a 7 by Dean's Cards and it was $50 which I thought was kind of a high price. I bought it anyway because I couldn't find one this nice anywhere and sent it in to PSA and it came back an 8. .
