I think it’s time that I begin to part with a few of my most coveted, more difficult to find, Daniel Carr pieces. Unless otherwise noted, most everything I post below will come with its original certificate from Moonlight Mint. SOLD - 1859-2006 Nikola Tesla Sesquicentennial Medal - Die Pair #1 – Brass / Satin – 54 total struck.

While somewhat plentiful for a DC piece, these are typically in strong hands and rarely come up for rehoming.

2001-D Bessie Coleman 3-Coin Presentation Set (by Justin R. DiNardo) - #8 of 20 sets.
Hand signed certificate by Daniel Carr encased within the lucite. While the certificate states 100 sets were made, only 20 sets were ever constructed and sold, making this collection quite rare by DC standards. This set #8, is a “must” for any Small Dollar collection.

2010 USNA Trade Dollar - 3 Coin Presentation Set (by Justin R. DiNardo) – 1 of 50 sets.

Hand signed certificate by Daniel Carr encased within the lucite. Only 50 of these 3-coin presentation sets were constructed and sold, making this set quite scarce by DC standards. Again, this set is a “must” for any Small Dollar Collection.

2019 Thomas Elder Store Card / Elder (Delory-71 obverse) – ANACS MS-68
2019 Thomas Elder Store Card / Elder (Delory-71 reverse) – ANACS MS-69
.999 silver - 18 total struck, each

Thomas L. Elder portrait die by Daniel Carr was paired with vintage Delory-71 / Elder dies, both obverse and reverse. Only 18 sets possible, these are certified and graded by ANACS. Being sold as a pair only. No certificates other than the ANACS label. As special as these are, I’m pretty sure that Dan could provide replacements for these, if asked. I FOUND THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES. THIS PAIR COMES WITH THEM!

SOLD - 1911 E.K. Elder Native Peace Medal (2013 re-strike) – brass / matte / smooth edge
Total of 2 struck

Very limited production, possibly unique “in-the-wild” if Dan kept one. This strike presents better in the hand than in DC’s production blog (below). The dies for this restrike were engraved circa 1911 by Charles Hanson, owned by E.K. Elder, Oklahoma native trader and brother of noted coin dealer Thomas L. Elder.

2016 Clark Gruber (Moonlight Refinery) Starburst & Mosaic Hologram Silver Bars (3 troy oz.)
36 total – Mosaic produced.
56 total - Starburst produced.

First come, first choice! These measure 28mm x 49mm x 6mm thick. 3.0 troy oz. of .999 silver artistically counter-stamped by Daniel Carr. These are clearly the most beautiful hand-poured, large format silver bars that Dan has produced, and vexingly difficult to find. Take one or take all. First “I’ll Take One” gets their choice. OBRO deals, I get to choose.
No certificates were printed with these, according to my understanding.

However, since you asked, if you have a 1816 Capped Bust Half http://www.moonlightmint.com/blog_9.htm , I'm definitely interested. Same for any of the Walking Liberty Half issues http://www.moonlightmint.com/blog_17.htm . And lastly, any of the CC canceled die strikes.

I mostly collect uncirculated overstrikes, slabbed or slab-worthy. I'm also looking for the 1816 capped bust half, and am missing: most of the half- and large cent pieces, double eagles, confederate, and the Mexico and Phillippine pesos.
