My collecting “Pride & Joy” is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set:

The US Mint also made 424 one pound gold medals. Yes, one pound. They still come up for auction now and then; as recently as May of this year. Only look at the recent sales at Heritage as you will cry when you see these sold for $10,000 fifteen years ago. One pound. Gold.
Really like this silver matted finish. It's like a Battleship gray!! 👍🏻 👍🏻

I purchased this Die from a forum member not to long ago.
Nice date, location, and subject matter.

It's all about what the people want...
You are correct I'm sure. Aunt purchased this large 3" silver and the 0.3732 oz proof gold one for me at the time I was just graduating high school. The size and weight along with the matte finish make this one kind of different and interesting to me. Still have both...

I only have one. Pics really don't do it justice, it has great color in hand.
