Pacific for FB?

Anyone else like Pacific products for fFB boxes? I frequently have great luck with them.

  • I bought one pack of 2002 Pacific. I like the design of Pacific for once. Also I think they book well.
  • They generally have a good mix of GU, rookies, and parallels that usually makes box breaks rewarding... actually I've been incredibly lucky with an older product that's usually cheap on eBay, 1999 Omega. But even the newer stuff is a pretty good value.

In fact, pretty much the only wax I break in quantity are Pacific boxes, Topps HTA, and any Fleer/Skybox I find cheap on eBay. The best box I ever broke was a 2001 Fleer Genuine FB box I bought for $27 (incl. shipping) on eBay, where I got the Anthony Thomas GJ rookie and the Johnny Unitas GJ/Auto. Of course, the second box of 1999 Omega FB I broke (containing a Culpepper copper, a Aaron Brooks copper #'d 01/99 image a Corey Dillon Premiere Date, lots of other rookies, and a few other inserts) makes for a formidable second image

  • Yes, the player selection is good, and I love the inserts. I think they have really nice looking cards, and It seems that they are always generous with the actual pulls compared to the odds. I too look out for past years boxes of just about any pacific product line cheap. REASON: I can normally pull good stuff, and the products usually hold their value well.
  • But, on the other hand, Donruss, which is owned by pacific if I'm not mistaken, gives me lousy pulls compared to odds. I'm not big on donruss stuff.
