NUNEMAKER'S 1984 "AMERICAN PROSPECTOR" ROUNDS QUESTION
My wife's family recently inherited a small group of 1984 "AMERICAN PROSPECTOR" 1-oz silver rounds that were purchased from NUNEMAKER'S coin company back in Oct. 1987. Is there any added value selling these as a group with the original mailing envelope and inserts or wouldn't that make a difference on the selling price. These have been held by the original owner for the past 36 years and appear to be in their original BU condition.

$8.13 an oz. Dollar insurance at work.
Likely no premium over others unless you find a collector who values the paperwork. put in on ebay as a 10 day auction and see what it fetches.
When gold and silver move together, it signals the coming end of fiat money.
Interesting documentation in any case. Purchased the week following the market crash!
I personally love paperwork and I think you’d get a bit more premium as a whole set. I think I’ve seen plastic strips of prospectors where they are all attached so unfortunately yours are not like that.
Given that some counterfeits of Engelhard Prospector rounds exist, I think the provenance provided by your paperwork would add a little bit of value.
