I didn’t realize there was an error and variety named after a woman’s vehicle 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Just can’t make this stuff up. Thought maybe it was a typo in the title but went on to read the description and there it was again. Then I thought maybe it was the auto correct, but I tried it and kept getting either broadstruck or 2 separate words, broad struck. Chances of being 2 typos??

Chances of being two typos? Pretty good, especially if copy and paste is used. Besides, you do understand that different systems have different autocorrects, and an individual’s past manual corrections teaches autocorrect, right? So you checking how your phone works may mean absolutely nothing for how someone else’s works…

Also, broadstrike is just an error, not a variety. Ironic that you would make an error when discussing… an error.

The error became “broads truck,” a woman’s vehicle. The varieties are correctly named and have nothing to do with a vehicle. Perhaps spend less time with the emojis and more time not being wrong.

Oh, and if DDR and DDO were part of that woman’s vehicle, your title would need to modified to reflect that those are two different varieties, yet you refer to “variety” in the singular. But if you’re referring to only one of them, then you’re rightfully ignoring one, but incorrectly failing to ignore the other. So the title of your thread mocking a title is grammatically incorrect no matter how you slice it, and no matter what point you’re trying to make. It’s actually impressive that you managed to write a title that is incorrect no matter how it’s interpreted.

You might have missed the two earlier threads where the OP instigated a bit of drama. I'm not condoning the need for retaliation. However, there is history here.

Well this was the first thread I noticed, being a woman I had to see what it was all about. I thought it was really funny. Then to see the responses it got. Just really unnecessary bashing, and really childish, especially coming from a grown man. I only found one other thread from justmenutty, and it appears all he was trying to do was have a little fun there also. I guess he didn’t like being called a lad. There was no need to talk down to him like that either. Do you treat all new members like that? Would you treat a female member like that? My God. I think I might have chosen the wrong forum.

The follow up thread to the "lad" thread was so full of insults that PCGS completely deleted it.

The "lad" comment itself was hardly talking down to him, ma'am.

The forum does not speak with a single voice. They are friendly people, crusty people, trolling people and normal middle-of-the-road people. There are also alt people.

In the case of the individual you have chosen to defend, I'm just ignoring him at this point but he was VERY insulting in the deleted thread and he is reaping what he sowed.
