  • I don't blame him. If you had a trading site would you allow users to post about competition trading sites? I sure wouldn't, unless it was under a board specifically for links and other sites. If that is the case then I do wonder why he did it. So I guess I will ask this...what forum did you post it under? Also what was the trading site you were posting about?

I wouldn't consider it spamming, but you can call it that if you want. If it has to be called something like that I would prefer potted meating. But anyways, Modern Era Sports has completely different goals than your site. I say that I don't blame Chuck for kicking him off because it is direct competition.

So what's the difference between what he is doing compared to what you, akafocus, and football_luva are doing? I see no difference at all.
  • why???
  • First and foremost. A website owner has the right to do whatever he wants. It is his property. Now maybe it is not in the best interest of the site and maybe it is. But it is his call. I have no problem with SPAM when it is in the right forum. ie General forum, etc...

I had a member that was complaining regularly about anything. I asked him to cheer up his posts a bit. Instead he got difficult and then started flamining me personally. I wanted to give the guy a chance but he then started disrupting the site. He had to be removed. He has since calmed down and may be admitted again. He knows that he has a problem. I want to give the guy the benifit of the doubt and he will be readmitted.

The point is, it is his site. If it were yours you could do as you thought best.

http://sportscardsheriff.com has over 8900 members and over 35,000 documented trades. Check it out if you have not already.
