well, when i was like 8(quite a while ago) i had a mickey mantle rookie that was in great condition. i took it to a shop one day, and asked what i could get for it, he told me it was worth like $20 (fat a*s lie). later on i was trading with a couple people and the bast*rd stole it from me. I was 8 and didnt think much about it then, but now, im PIS*ED!!!!!!

id have to say that woulda been my best, but now its a Dan Marino 99 fury hologold #'d/50 bv $175

My best card is not my most expensive card, but a 1995 Upper Deck Ted Williams Autographed card. I ordered it directly from UD as a 2 card set, one autographed with a serial numbered hologram on the back and an unsigned collector's edition card. Today, this card means a little more to me than before. I attached a picture to share with you this fine card.

Also, just sold my 2001 Donruss Elite Elway/Griese Dual Jsy/Auto #'d xx/50, but only the first 15 were signed, also had no bv due to scarcity

I sold my best card a Bowman best atomic refractor autograph rookie of Vince Carter-i was told by a Topps oficial there are only 7 of them made-i sold it for $2000.00 and a SPx Swift rc when those were very hot and selling for full book and over $450.00 ) i figure anytime u can get that type of money for cardboard -take it!!!!!!!!!

As far as the member who got taken at age 8 on the prime Mantle-lets go FIREBOMB the guys store. Ill help. What a slzzo to take advantage of a kid-hell get what he deserves. He probably spilled a glass of red wine on it a few week later.

hey, tuneman, thx, im with ya, ive got him back, but no where near as bad as he got me. that card books $8500 now, and a lot more if he got it graded.

anybody seen a mantle dp from like 62 topps or something like that, it books $18,000. i surely wouldnt mind getting 1 of those

On my trade list I would have to go with my 1976 Topps Walter Payton RC PSA 9. He is one of my favorite players. If PSA ever comes close to here I will definitely have it re-graded. 50/50 centering allt he way around with crisp everything....not sure how in the world it got a 9 (guys at PSA were probably having a bad day lol)

As far as my personal collection I have several favorites...but my "best" card would have to be a 51 bowman mantle rc psa 7. very nice with 50/50 centering as well. i also have a psa 9 magic/erving/bird rc (very nice) and a couple of Goudey Babe ruth cards.

my goal is to get a hold of a psa 9 jordan rc, a jordan auto jersey, and some other graded rcs of guys like willie mays, roberto clemente, etc...but need a lot more money before i can get those
