Tough to say, so much goes on behind the scenes. Charles Barkley stands out right off the tip for me..
Yes, Barkley was a big time trash talker. I remember he even used to drop f-bombs at the fans during games. You can read his lips in this video.

Muhammad Ali was a big time trash talker, so much that they had to tape his mouth shut.
Scottie Pippen claims that he said the best line in trash talk history, when he told Karl Malone, "The Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays".
I still remember Terrell Owens saying, "Get your popcorn ready cause I'm gonna put on a show." I also remember he did a popcorn celebration one time.
It is just ridiculous how much trash Philip Rivers talks. He has a PhD in trash talking.

Even Steve Spurrier got in on the trash talking. Ouch.
Larry legend was the best trash talker. when he entered the locker room before the 1988 3 point competition during all star weekend and asked
"whos coming in second?"
so great.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
9 comments deep and no one has mentioned MJ?
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Yes, Larry Legend could definately talk some trash.
Here is the video of the story of Bird going off for 60 against the Hawks and he lands in the Hawks trainers lap.
Yes, Jordan was a big trash talker. He once shot a free throw with his eyes closed just to mess with Dikembo Mutumbo's head. Before he took the shot he supposedly said, "Hey Mutumbo, this one's for you."
Which of the notable trash talkers gave the best delivery of trash talk that made reference to the recipient's "Momma"?
I just wonder if athletes text trash talk to eachother?
Larry Legend is the answer.
