Anyone ever walk on at college?

The MLB question got me thinking, did anyone ever walkon at basketball at something, hopefully some day Ill be good enough to get a shot at walking on and wondered how you went about it.

That's how Charles Johnson got to the majors, by walking on. Walked on in spring training for the Marlins.
