We at Traders Retreat are raising funds to get a new site. What i am doing is holding a silent auction right here. I have up for auction a pair of BRAND NEW Oakley Fives 2.0. They retail for $65, and as i said, are BRAND NEW w/ box and Oakley bag. Here is a pic of the model you are bidding on:

So that i can get the most for them, i will set the reserve at $35, since i can easily get that much on eBay. This will be a silent auction, and all bids must be e-mailed to me at JErik20@aol.com. PLEASE DO NOT BID HERE, THEY WILL NOT BE COUNTED. This is a great chance to get some awesome sunglasses well below retail, and to help out a great tradesite. Feel free to reply here w/ questions or comments. ALL proceeds go to TRs new site. So bid away. If it ends in a tie, first person to submit that bid wins. Auction will end Tuesday night whenever i get a chance to check the e-mails and winner will be announced then.     Man D, you sound like every other cheapskate that comes into my store. These go for a measly $65, i have a pair that retails $400. They are the Oakleys that the guy wears in Blackhawk Down. I surely did not pay $400 for them, but a few people have

    By the way, cheapskate? Nah, not me. Why pay $65 for some sunglasses...and I can't even IMAGINE paying $400?!?! Gimme a break! That's insanity for people who want to "look cool" in some sunglasses. Hell, I like my cool Johnny Knoxville $10 sunglasses...image

    Oakleys are some great sunglasses $65 for a pair is still cheap most retail around $100 the reason they are so great is because they dont have any distortion and they cut out all the glare. Good luck with the auction I wish I could bid but I wear scrip glasses.

    I didnt use to wear perscription but the key to that statement is "resistant" not bullet proofimage

    I had a pair of $100 Oakley's about 2 years ago. Recently the protective reflective covering on the lenses starting flaking off. Not good. I've got a pair of Gucci's now. For the price I paid for them they better not fail me like the Oakley's did.

    For under $65.00 those Oakley's are a good deal.

    When I was in Washington DC, I bought a piar of fake Oakleys from a bum for $5.

    Derrick, for the record i was just messing with you too. Guess it's kinda hard to read tone of voice...

    If anyone would seriously like me to explain the MANY differences between Oakleys and Foakleys, PM me. Or even the difference between Oakleys and Gucci.

    They are not bullet proof, but Oakley tested, and they will absorb a shotgun blast from 15 feet withough shattering or popping out of the frames

    I figured the morning guys MIGHT let this stay here since the proceeds are benefitting a trading site, so please gentleman, just let it stay.
