I'm not sure what movie rental franchises you have in your city,But our local blockbuster wants like $19.95 for used (and I mean watched to death recent release dvds)..

On the other hand if your lucky enough to have a Hollywood Video they sell their used dvd's 3 for $20..I've picked up quite a few nice flicks there and unlike blockbuster they only sell them in their original boxes..I've seen used ones at Blockbuster crammed in a cardboard sleeve
