Not good news in the pumpkin patch. Took much rain has enable Fusarium to take hold. Most of the vines are rotten. Looks like 600 pounds will be the max this year.

a proof mintage of 1,150 with eye appeal for $1,250...if i wasn't pulling off my 12'...this would be sold to me

Nice coin. I think there may be some reluctance to pay halfway between 63 and 64 levels... but warranted if the coin is as nice as the pics which I bet it is.

We used to grow curcubits in Jersey. The fusarium and anthracnose was always a battle in wet August's. Wettable micronised copper helps with the anthracnose, but once that fusarium is in the vine it is systemic and blocks vascular transfer of water and nutrients, ie clogs the ciculatory system of the vine with the inevitable decline of the plant. It was more prevalent in Cantalopes than in Pumpkins for us tho...
