I have 11 extremely nice world coins that I must sell, though it breaks my heart to do it. The economy has taken its toll on my finances and I need to raise some cash. The collection includes British and Italian coins and 1 German coin of which only 12-15 examples are known to exist. I had actually hoped to sell the entire set for $3000, but that doesn't seem to be the way inquiries are going, so I'm posting the prices for individual coins.

I have no experience with this forum, but was referred here by a friend who uses the forum quite regularly. I can provide as many references as you may require, and I accept PayPal. Other payment options are possible on a case by case basis. I realize that many don't want to deal with a "newbie" and there's nothing I can do about that. But these coins are certainly pq and deserve consideration. I will answer any and all questions as fast as possible.

My friend left off one coin by accident: A 1927R Italian 5 Lire in NGC MS63, monster toned, highly lustrous. Very difficult to find in such high grade and with such beautiful toning...........................................Price: $125
Maybe he'll be nice enough to somehow make me understand how to get the pictures on here. I have a lot of nice pictures of coins I would like to share. Kinda like coin porn. I haven't bought a coin that I didn't love and want to keep forever in this group. I have tried to be fair with the prices without taking a loss, and certainly not making any profit to speak of. I do, really, need the cash. But if you ever see my commems on BS&T, then you will know I have crashed. >>

DESPERATELY WANTED, for my daughter's 1901 Victorian type set:

    image

    *Coins dated 1901 ONLY*

I'll take anything I can get, gradewise, but of course would love to eventually have AU-UNC pieces if possible. Some of the Indian coins have pretty low catalog values, as I recall, but I can't seem to find any for sale! (You know how that goes.)

    AUSTRALIA
1 SOVEREIGN, KM13, any or all mints, dated 1901

    CEYLON (SRI LANKA)
    1/2 CENT, KM91, 1901
    1 CENT, KM92, 1901

    CYPRUS
    1/4 PIASTRE, KM1.2, 1901
    3 PIASTRES, KM4, 1901

    GREAT BRITAIN
    1 SOVEREIGN, KM785, 1901 (full sovereign only; I have the half-sovereign)

    INDIA, BRITISH
    1/2 PICE, KM484, 1901
    1/4 ANNA, KM486, 1901
    2 ANNAS, KM488, 1901
    1/4 RUPEE, KM490, 1901

    STRAITS SETTLEMENTS (MALAYSIA)
    20 CENTS, KM12, 1901
    50 CENTS, KM13, 1901

Additionally, I might consider buying any other 1901 Victoria-portrait coins IF they are in PCGS plastic. I want to move most of the set into slabs, and so far only two of the ones I have slabbed are in PCGS holders. Most are still raw at this time.
