Anyone interested in a 'rolling trade/giveaway' type thing..

This is just an interest generating thread...If it looks like enough want in on it I'll start a new 'actual thread'.
What I am suggesting is to start with a reasonable sized sample of lower value, but interesting OFECs/random countries which just aren't worth the time or costs to sell on ebay (or even--in my case-- bother imaging and listing on our BST).
I could package up 20 or so and send them on to a random person posting to the actual game thread, and once that person gets them he/she can go through and keep what he wants and then throw in a few more and send to the next person interested. YNs would be welcome to grab half the bunch without replenishing the supply (unless they wanted to) and the next couple ONs (old numismatists
) could add back a few extras. It might be fun to throw in a random slightly nicer coins too on occasion.
The goal would be to keep somewhere between 15-25 coins in the pot and not crappy ones--not valuable, but cool in condition and/or interest.
The person with the coins would be in charge of picking the next person (either a new giveaway thread or using the previous one or however they want to do it).
I got the idea because I have some dupes to send to someone (and if that person wants to play then he will be my first 'random' draw
). Plus I have a fair supply of coins I just don't want anymore but I'm too lazy to do anything about. YN giveaways are nice, but sometimes the ONs are looking for a few new/low cost things too!
People interested? Should I try this to the giveaway forum (a place I have never gone....)? Or should I send my dupes to my unamed friend for some, have a YN giveaway for the rest and shut up???

Trading is about the only way I get new coins these days. And I've been craving a good junk box!

It'd be neat to track the whereabouts of it too, maybe in a thread on here or on a piece of paper with the coins

Neat idea. We could plot it out on a customized Google map.
(Not using full addresses on the map, of course)
