OT - (Officially So) Bust Dimes

Okay i'll ask here cos firstly you guys are just nicer to deal with and more straight forward, and secondly the answers will hopefully be more benefitial here because you guys won't recommend US dealers that don't do over seas shipping.

Right can you recommend any good dealers that sell high grade problem free US bust dimes (from 1790s-1830s). High grade being EFs (That being the US EF)

I've been meaning to do something about these for a while.

    Try JJ Teaparty but I don't know if they ship overseas.

    Most problem free Bust dimes EF will be slabbed. Knowing your dislike of slabs, you may have a difficult time in finding raw coins.

    Does matter so much because i've found myself actually willing to buy slabbed coins. You know why? Cos i like hearing them go crack... image

    Cracking coins out is actually really good fun. I might give up collecting coins and set up a coin cracking company! Ah now there's a thought... wuhaha.

    JJ Teaparty is an excellent resource. You might also want to try Rare Coins of New Hampshire and Dick Osburn, both have online shops. I don't know if they ship overseas though.

    I have a nice large sized Capped Bust dime (an 1821 in VF) that I was thinking of sending off to PCGS. As of right now it is still raw. Nice coin. I got it from Aethelred. It won't go EF but it might just be choice VF- I forget offhand. I know it is at least VF20, American. Might be better than that. Somewhere between 20 and 35, gradewise.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    Here's my 1821. Large date. I call it VF25.

    I'm asking $119 plus shipping, but Si gets first dibs since this is his thread.

    It's a nice original-tone coin that looks a bit washed out in my scan.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
