Doesn't look like anyone on the registry- very few even have scans, and the ones that do don't have these cards. If it's legit it's a good deal, but being yahoo I doubt that. Who knows, feeling lucky Nick? One thing for sure, it'll take more than this to land you at the top of the registry. The #1 spot is impossible, Bill's got it locked for good. I"m betting #2 has a few upgrades as well, and #3 is very aggressive on his purchases. I"m guessing this set would be around #10 or 12.

I think so NickM. I remember the order of the cards just like that - Mantle, Gibson, and Mays. The breakdown of 10's, 9's, and 8's seem very familiar too.
His only sale was a T206 Cobb PSA 7 4 days ago for $1750. I wonder if the feedback will hit befor these auctions end. If he was pulling a huge scam, wouldnt he have listed them all at once like these and took the money and ran? Not saying its ligit, too risky even to consider. Out

My bad, I misread the price. I asked for a couple of certification numbers of the non-pictured cards. We will see.
I did the math. Its a 8.75 set which would make it 7th on the current listing. Regardless of whether or not this person has this set, the set (in this form anyway) doesnt appear to be registered.
Reminds me of the way that super-scammer Toniscards used to describe his auctions. I haven't seen Toni lately on ebay although as usual he's got his website in "Italy" loaded with fake scans of cards for sale at one-half the prce the cards would really sell for on ebay. Maybe he switched over to Yahoo.

The key is to note all of the key cards that are graded 8. Most of those are the make or break cards of the set.

Nice to see the T-206 Rube Waddell PSA 9 with an opening bid of a dollar.

The upside is great, but the downside of losing $2 grand is also great!...jay

I just "bought it now" on one of his auctions and will leave him a negative right away so other don't get ripped.
