1960's Coke bottle caps--baseball, football, hockey

Hello,

I am working on an article about 1960's Coke sports caps for an antiques magazine. The baseball and football ones have a picture of a player on the underside of the cap, the hockey ones I've seen have the player's image on the top of the cap.

If you collect those caps and would like to be interviewed for the article please email me at kozpro20@hotmail.com
I am looking to wrqp up the interviews by Feb 1st.

Thanks again to everyone who has assisted with articles in the past.

Doug
Enjoy the hobby.

There is an ebay seller who specializes in these. About two years ago a lot of about 200 baseball were offered BIN for $50. I did some research and couldn't decide if it was a good deal. That seller snapped them right up. Lots of SP's and regional variations among the caps, and then you've got the beverages other than Coke that feature them. So its a real task getting them all.
Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

I can remember as a kid going to soda machines with a magnet on a string and "fishing" for the bottle caps.

How about NASCAR? Have you ever seen these. They were part of a Pepsi promotion in South Carolina in 1968. I think there was about 25 different caps, but I would have to look them up to be sure.

Hi George,This is Joe. We talked at the National about your Post FB set. I can't find a profile tab. Do you mean "customize"? And when I clicked on customize, it told me I had to be logged in. I thought I was logged in!
