    Have you done transactions with many board members before? You have some serious cards for sale. I'm interested in a few of the cards but do not feel comfortable at all. I'm sure a few other members feel the same way. Nice cards and good luck with your sales. As others receive the cards...I hope they post on the thread to build buyer confidence.

    Absolutely understandable. I pretty much figured some eyebrows would raise a bit when a newbie jumps on board and offers $20,000+ worth of high end stuff. I've been away from the hobby for quite a while and have only recently been able to jump back in with both feet. My Ebay user ID is the same as my username here...my rating is around 600 or so I believe. I did just spend a few hundred $$ with Mark Hooks this weekend and he has received the money. I have asked the people who have bought from me so far to postfeedback when they receive the cards in anticipation of this very thing.

    I have posted the cards on Net54 Vintage as well, so a few of the feedback responses may be there if those individuals do not have accounts here. Is it ok for me to put a link to that thread on the other board on this board? Don't want to step on any toes.

    And if anyone has cards they would like to get but are a bit hesitant, send me a PM and let me know what they are interested in. I can put some of the cards on "hold" until feedback starts to come back on those that have been sent already. I would just ask that any who do this not abuse it by asking me to hold 10 cards when they only anticipate getting a few. I want to be fair to everyone, but want to make sure all of the board members are as comfortable as possible as well.

    As Mickey stated, you have some real nice cards here. Just a suggestion, but maybe there are members here who live by and can pick up the cards in person if it's a serious $$$ purchase. GOOD LUCK with the sales!

    Would you possibly put cards on EBAY with a BIN to offer buyer protection through PAYPAL? This is a very general question; but on expensive transactions it's nice to be safe. You also stated you spent alot of money with Mark Hooks. I've never heard the name before. I'm asking how many significant transactions you've made by selling to fellow board members not by buying.

    What does not sell here will most definately be put on Ebay just as you say...as Buy It Now. Only the price will be a bit higher there as I need to account for all the fees. I have had three individuals pay for cards from this ad so far...two of which I shipped out the cards Thursday afternoon...so hopefully their feedback will be added by the time the mail arrives tomorrow. The third sale just paid today, so those will go out tomorrow and should arrive mid to late next week.

    I didn't really spend a lot of money. I just got my login info late last week and have had little time to buy much of anything yet. But as for selling, the first pieces of feedback should be coming Monday and Tuesday I would think.

    Again, I very very much understand the trepedation and want to do whatever I can to alleviate it in any way possible. If it means putting the items to Ebay for a bit higher price I will absolutely do it. Hopefully the more cards I put up and the more transactions I have with board members the more at ease people can be.

    And there will be a lot more where these came from!!

    I sold several hundred dollars worth of cards to Tom in the last week and had no issues with the transaction's. Tom was very professonial and paid very quickly. I wouldn't have any hesitation buying from him.

    I received my 1960 PSA 8 Aaron. It was packaged very securely and I had to sign for the item. He also shipped the card very quickly. Tom came through in every area.
