I picked this up at auction, and am now selling because son needs to borrow money instead of buying this from me, as was the original plan.
I am a coin gal, not sports - so it is not sentimental to me.
Here's what the forum experts had to say about it (see link to thread above.):
(by the way I did a search on eBay and found one almost identical to it - blue ink and all.
It looks good to me. The signature is large, but not that uncommon for Mantle. Here is an 11 by 14 print (maybe the next size up?) I have that Mantle signed in person in 1986 or 1987.
I would place the value of your Mantle around $200. If you get it PSA DNA certified, around $350.
The Mantle sig is fine.
I personally don't like that kind of plaque thingy, but the picture is nice enough.
It should bring a pretty fast $200+ on EBAY. A bit less, if you sell it to a dealer.
I would get the sig PSA/DNAd, but it's not necessary to sell it. (No, I never got this done.)
