I think it all comes down to whether the spot counts against the grade or not. I'm not sure but I don't think it does. I'll defer to one of the more knowledgeable copper grading experts here. I'm thinking it will stay the same grade.

Not sure it really matters because you'd spend more than the difference between the 64 price and the 65 price just getting the spot off and getting it re certified.
Sorry but the spot is part of the coin. If you removed it a visible area would be very evident. Does it bug you or were you just wanting a jump in the grade for some reason?

Spots on copper can be avoided with patience.
