So, my order finally went through an hour and a half after the starting gun and I have ship dates that have continued to adjust later and later and are now 16 May and 16 June. Is it safe to presume that anyone whose order was processed anytime after about the first hour are screwed out of FS status?

My 209p and 222p Silver are now in stock and reserved. Looks like they will ship next week....no hope on the gold though. They are all June or later

so for a newbie who has never sent in a coin for grading, the "First Strike" designation is important enough to justify the costs
of joining PCGS and the extra $18 per coin?

edit ~ tried to locate the table shown on the PCGS site…no luck for the newbie…what are the numbers in the right hand column?

Those would be the coin numbers for the normal First Strike coins.

Looks more and more that those unopened boxes that are dated before May 6th that can still be graded by PCGS are going to get very expensive after May 6th. being as how they will still be eligible for 1st strike.

PCGS, there seems to be mint mark errors in this list:

525639 2014-D 50C Baseball Hall of Fame MS
525645 2014-D 50C Baseball Hall of Fame First Strike MS
525647 2014-P 50C Baseball Hall of Fame First Strike, Cassie McFarland Signature MS
525866 2014-P 50C Baseball Hall of Fame Cassie McFarland Signature MS
526703 2014-D 50C Baseball Hall of Fame First Pitch Baltimore MS
527078 2014-D 50C Baseball Hall of Fame First Pitch Baltimore , Cassie McFarland Signature MS

and possibly an omission in the 2014-W $5 MS listings (only 5 types listed)

    Thanx

Since this is a Baseball Coin... maybe they should come up with some criteria for Second Strike and Third Strike labels?

FS Baltimore McF signature??? This was never mentioned as an option to me in Balto.

Has anyone seen one of these??

If someone wants one do we have to send our Balto coins in and pay AGAIN to get this "added". What's up with this??

The mint is trying to sell stuff before they even make it so they get behind on everything.

What about the good old theory of making a product and then selling it.

It's a lot less complicated that way and you end up with happy customers instead of pi$$ed off ones.
