Official announcement from PCGS RE: exonumia grading??

Was there an "official" announcement of the recent venture of PCGS more heavily into the grading of pieces from the exonumia world?
I have seen the following in PCGS holders, but only in the past few months to a year:
Civil war tokens
Hard times tokens
Conder tokens
So-called-dollars (HK-numbered)
World medals (for example this one).
If someone could link me to an official announcement I would be most grateful.
Thanks.

<< <i>I look forward to counterstamped coins being graded. >>
I think they already are but details graded.
OK, then maybe someone can link me to the list of medals, tokens, and other exonumia that PCGS will currently grade. Maybe they don't publicize that either? C'mon guys (and gals)...

Tom
The other top /TPG dropped the ball and did not label re-strikes as re-strikes until it was proven to them publicly on their boards.
But by then the damage was done.
<< <i>I just hope they do their homework. There are a lot of re-strikes out there,

Good luck with that wish...as I'm quite certain the medal I linked to in my original post is a restrike, and not labeled as such by PCGS. (shrug)

<< <i>I don't think a policy exists and I am surprised that the referenced medal was slabbed as I had a Proclamation Medal from Peru returned as not available for grading. I do welcome PCGS getting into HTT and CWT ( I know they do feuchtwangers) but until I know that it is part of what they do, I can't act. >>
That's odd as I've seen Proclamation Medals from Peru in PCGS plastic already a couple years ago.

Broadie, any ideas as to why PCGS apparently doesn't have an official policy or listing of all acceptable/gradable exonumia pieces? NGC has a complete list of accepted material, and lists which guides are used for the numbering/indexing of such items. Seems odd that a TPG would start grading some exonumia pieces, sort of willie-nillie. Doesn't foster too much confidence IMO. (shrug)

I'm guessing they are still in a very early transitional state when it comes to exonumia.
I did just recently see a + graded SC$1 and hope that was just fluke?
